Privacy.

Browsing and location.
You can search and contact businesses without a business account. We request your location only when you choose “Use my location.” Approximate search coordinates appear in the URL for sharing; clear filters to remove them. We do not keep a visitor location history.
Browser preferences.
Theme and motion choices are stored in your browser. A local timestamp limits community invitations, and a session timestamp prevents repeated idle reminders. These preferences are not sent to the server and are not used to track you across websites.
Accounts and profiles.
Account sign-in stores account details and an expiring session cookie. Keep personal sign-in links private. Sign-in access requests store your name, email, business note, and intended claim/add destination for operator review. Sessions may include IP and browser metadata. Claims, relationship evidence, source notes, reports, and audit records are private operator records or part of authorized account workflows.
Business contacts, intentionally public shop addresses, chosen service-area centers, and enabled images are shown on business profiles. On-site-only profiles do not collect a private street address.
External services.
Maps and linked images load from external providers, which receive your IP address and requests. Business links lead to their own sites. Cloudflare hosts the directory. Configured email, map, geocoding and form-security providers receive the data needed to provide those services.
Retention and requests.
Rate limits use hashed network identifiers and request counts. There is no advertising or analytics integration. Owner removal immediately hides a listing and retains a private suppression record. For listing concerns, use the profile’s report form or the owner dashboard.
